Likely Treasures
by: LJ Ober As I am starting out in this fork in the road of my blogging venture, it reminds me of my very first blog post called “Oh The New World Of Blogging. . . I Well It’s New To Me!” But this time, with my blog re-do, I am not new to blogging, but I am however new to writing about this subject . . . so please bear with me. I am excited and I know It’ll be fun. I have been upcycling home decor now for about a year which started out as a hobby. Just something to do to pass the time when I became an empty nester. I simply wanted to update my current home decor accessories, to a lighter feel and I started this with lightening up the frames of my pictures, wall art, shelves and accessories with paint.
I have had a love of decorating my entire life! Over the years as my tastes have changed or moving in to a new home, I have decorated on a budget while utilizing my creative skills. Now just so you know, I’m not your typical blogger who is in early 30's, recently married, stay at home mom living in a 600k house with rooms to kill for! Nope that’s not me at all! I am a 50 something year old grandmother living in a home that I absolutely love, but let’s just say I probably won’t be adding a “Home Tour” page on my blog any time soon. At any rate, I love finding old junk and giving it a new life and this blog is about enjoying that journey. I wanted this post to be a prelude to my blog re-do like I did in the beginning of my blogging journey. For now I still intend to post inspiring blog posts as well, so you can find those on the "BE INSPIRED" page. My new home decor upcycle posts will be starting soon so please check back in. Please share! Hang in here while I learn the ropes. ttyl Likely Treasures

I started a blog dealing with upcycling but focus more on technology that has become useless. I love this though as well! I will be following your blog starting now. I am a bit late but I know I will get loads of inspiration from you. I can tell how passionate you are and how happy this makes you.
