By; LJ Ober Slowing down the pace and living your life simply may just be the medicine that you need to balance your self and refresh your soul from the daily grind. Life goes by at such a vigorous speed that we sometimes forget to fully indulge in the simple pleasures of life! Such as the sun shining, birds singing, a baby laughing just to name a few!
By being mindful of the way you are living your life on a daily basis and paring back of unnecessary materialistic needs, it will help to refresh your soul from the everyday stress that weighs you down so that you can take notice of simplistic things that will bring a smile to your face. When you start to live your life simply, you begin to eliminate useless thoughts, things and actions, which helps to get you to the core of what is most important to you. It won’t happen overnight! It is a practice that takes time and maybe a little planning as well. In this particular post I won’t be going in to great detail on particular ideas of how to live your life simply but, here is a synopsis of what you can do today to get started on a more of a conscious level of LIVING YOUR LIFE SIMPLY. TO GET STARTED. . . MAKE A LIST OF WHAT YOU CAN ELIMINATE: 1. Unnecessary Items - Get rid of items that no longer hold a value to you or things that pretty much weigh you down. For example. . .Do your grandmothers dishes in the box in the cupboard express who you are? Why not get rid of them? Instead take a picture of them, plus hang on to one or two pieces from the set for a memory and then give them to someone who will actually use them. 2. Unnecessary Thoughts - Get a hold of anxiety ridden thoughts that drain your energy. Forgiving and forgetting can spare up so much space in our energy and mind. Plus, battle out the negative thoughts by adding in affirmations on a daily basis. 3. Unnecessary Bad Habits - Bad habits are only constant reminders of what we do not like about ourselves. Every time you do that particular bad habit it is followed in your mind by "Why did I just do that?, I hate when I do that"! It only serves as an energy drainer. MAKE A CONSCIOUS DECISION TO: Slow down the pace of a hectic lifestyle. Be mindful of noise, clutter, and waste. Protect your valuable time and energy. SCHEDULE IN TIME FOR YOURSELF: Yoga, bubble bath, quiet time, a nap or walk in the park. . . What ever would help give you a sense of balance. With today’s ever so hectic lifestyle it is necessary to quiet your mind to the present moment. Be in the now by turning your attention inward and listening to that still voice deep inside of you that is desperately trying to shift your focus to what REALLY matters. By embracing simplicity in everyday life, you will begin to live a more balanced and peaceful existence, which gives you the strength to take care of yourself as well as others. Living your life simply is the perfect start of a well-being approach to holistic health. Think of well-being as preventative maintenance in a fun and rewarding way while you take care of your whole self. Your body, soul and mind will thank you by giving you a better sense of balance and health. I believe we are in this journey of life for personal growth and expansion as we co-exist as a support system to one another. You cannot be your best self for those that you love, without balancing your mind and body in a healthier way. I wish you well in your own personal life journey as you move forward in to greatness. We only have so much to give in life, but if you can find the time to re-fuel your energy by taking care of your own individual needs, you will have more to give to others than you can ever imagine! ttyl Are you enjoying my blog post? I would love you to share it! Likely Treasures

The statements on this post is very agreeable to me. Each of us has different purpose in living but we should bear in mind that we enjoy every moment in life. To ensure that we are living with quality, we should start with our foods. Healthy foods gives us good and healthy body and mind.
