By: LJ Ober "Make it or break it! Being transparent to own your spot on the online platform. Knowing who you are and of what you want to reveal to the world." If you are like me and brand new to the online platform, you are still learning the ropes. You have much to discover as you are designing your brand and making a name for yourself. You are shaping your ideas, making changes often and continuously coming up with new brainstorming ideas that never pan through! As you read through your work previously done you notice astonishing mistakes on your blog or website that you cannot believe that you have missed the first time through.
Trust me, I get it! It is quite hard to let friends, family and strangers read our deep thoughts or possible crazy ideas. However; we all make mistakes. . .and while being transparent we can grow through it. Here you are BRAND NEW, still figuring out what you want your business to be known as and yet, you are already on stage, the curtains are open and everyone is waiting!! MAKE IT OR BREAK IT! You have to be okay with letting yourself be extremely transparent and own it! You are nervous and vulnerable and that’s o.k. because you’ve got this. Own what you are about, or want to become. Transparency is knowing "I AM MY BUSINESS", "I am what I want to reveal to the world through this journey!” Whether the world is ready for you it not . . . You are on your way. To be transparent you need to accept that you may fail, you may let someone down or you may find success that leads you down a deeper road that you never dreamed of, making you even more transparent than you were at the beginning. No worries because you are better at it now! Your eyes are wide open now and you have nothing to hide. When you are transparent you believe in yourself even when others cannot see your vision yet. You can also rest assure that most people, such as your friends and family are too busy within their own lives to look too extremely deep in to what you are doing in yours. They only get a small glimpse of what you are sharing on your blog or website. And to be honest do you really need to care of what other people think or feel about your project. This is your time, your investment, and your vision that those around you cannot see. You cannot find the success you want for yourself, until you put yourself out there, fall down, get back up, dust your knees off and push forward again! As your skills broaden and you become more efficient, others will take note of your potential. Having to be on a transparent platform will pay off. Even more so a year from now, when you look back, you and your followers will see just how far you have become. Those whose are dearest to you may not be profusely joyful for you right now, but give it time. They have to catch up to your perception and vision. Take notice who else around you is having to be transparent on today's business/social platforms. It may not be easy for them so, support their efforts and cheer them on! Personally I will hope that my posts will help some other newbie that is just starting out, reminding them that we are all human and have to start somewhere! And as for you...THE WORLD IS WAITING, BE TRANSPARENT! Ttyl Likely Treasures

I really love it when a business actually has a face behind the brand. It feels a lot more personal and it's nice to feel like you're getting to know the seller. (:
