We are all pretty much we are all in the same boat, right? Every one of us seems to have the same similar hurdles or struggles and are in need of a go-to plan on how to deal with stress. We all get the similar adverse reactions from discouraging moments that take our emotions to a completely different level. The stresses of life take over and we are faced with an overwhelming tension that robs us of our peace and sanity. Stress has a way of sneaking up and surrounding us on a daily basis. You know that good ol’ reoccurring feeling of . . .Read More

Are you someone who feels more of their true self when no one else is around, as opposed to being in the presence of others?
I don’t know about you, but I personally feel more relaxed, laid back, and maybe a bit silly when I am home alone with just me and the dog! I am giddy, unguarded, and YES…I talk to myself, sing to the dog and call her silly names! (I think she likes it.) Because for some reason, when I am alone I feel more like my true authentic self rather than in social situations.
Young children seem to get it right better than many . . .

Have you ever had one of those days where from the moment you rolled out of bed, nothing seemed to go your way? You then immediately thought, “Its going to be a crappy day!” Since you get exactly what you wish for, you face one setback after another, and it all takes on a snowball effect as one problem rolls into the next. It’s like you have a cloud of gloom following you for the remainder of the day until your head hits the pillow at night. Sometimes when disappointments come our way, it is because we expect them to. It’s kind of like our belief system is displaced. You expect . . .
So, I guess I will start off my first blog with the basics and keep it simple and sweet giving this the best that I have. Blogging is not a new outlet to the world. . . however; it is new to me. It feels a bit strange to put myself out here to the online blogging community like this, but here it goes. . .
I am an easy-going kind of gal, sensitive by nature who is pretty much at that wonderful place where . . . yay. . . I don’t care anymore of what other people think of me. Well not for the most part anyway! This is freaking me out a bit, but here it goes!
People around us are sometimes the most judgmental and often question everything we do. Society is harsh and family and friends are quite often critical rather than supportive. But it is most likely because they cannot see the same vision that we have and therefore cannot contribute to what we have going on. They unfortunately assume or possibly even hope that we fail. Quite sad isn’t it?
It is a great idea to hear them out but we are adults and potentially make our own decisions. . . .right?
We do however learn a lot from people in our lives. Some of our greatest teachers are those whom are the most dear to us. Family, friends, teachers, co-workers, bosses etc. Young and old that don’t even know that they’ve contributed. Even you, who is reading this has probably taught somebody close to you a valuable life lesson or have inspired something remarkable inside of them without you even knowing it.
So. . . Ok all of you cynics out there. This is not only my first blog but also my first website so it may not go off without a hitch and will take years to be perfect. But let’s be honest. . . we have all been at the beginning stages of a new venture somewhere along the line. We stumble, we fall and we get back up on the horse once again. I already know that I will be changing and growing with this journey as I figure out what my main focus will be.
After 20+ years of working outside of the home for someone else, I Pretty much eagerly jumped into this online escapade feet first, with just a glimpse of a vision of what is ahead of me. As I begin to focus on my vision on what I want to convey to the world, I know that as life will have it, I will eventually stumble and fall. My new and experienced internet friends will unknowingly pick me up and inspire me as I learn from their mistakes that they made when they were just starting out.
As I learn and grow through this process, I will somehow find the courage to share some of me deepest thoughts and experiences to hopefully encourage a few of you along the way who may follow in my footsteps as well. See you at the top. . . or somewhere in the middle lol! ttyl
